James Rawes Violins is the website of a highly skilled violin maker based near Carlisle in Cumbria. James repairs violins and 'cellos and makes beautiful new intruments for the professional performer. He also imports cheaper instruments suitable for students and children to learn to play.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gareth Green is a professional musician based in Barnsley South Yorkshire who has been Head of Department at a Major Independent School in Yorkshire, a cathedral organist and is a recitalist and accompanist as well as an engaging teacher and choral trainer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Culgaith Parish Website This is the webite of a group of villages in the Cross Fell area of Cumbria. The site is quite new but a lot of interest has been shown so that local businesses, events and amenities are represented. After the initial set-up period the input to the site will be maintained using Macromedia Contribute 3, software that makes maintaining the site extremely easy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Andrew Padmore is an international conductor and choral trainer based in Leeds. He is musical director of the Harrogate Choral Socirty and resident conductor and artistic director of the Yorkshire Philharmonic Choir. In the orchestral sphere he is particularly well known in the U.K. for conducting summer outdoor performances of "Last Night of the Proms" type concerts attracting audiences of many thousands. As a choral conductor he is frequently booked to conduct the major choral repertoire with choral societies throughout the U.K. and abroad.

 

 

 

Cornerstones Cottage, GamblesbySituated in the delightful quiet village of Gamblesby, CUMBRIA nestling under the Pennines not far from Cross Fell. The accommodation sleeps four adults with one double and one twin bedded room. Walkers will enjoy the miles of bridleways and footpaths and the more adventurous may venture onto the Pennine tops.

Melmerby Mill Caravan Park Melmerby Mill caravan park lies in the beautiful Eden Valley, just outside the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and 1 mile from the village of Melmerby on the A686 Penrith to Alston road, only 15 minutes (8 miles) from Penrith and Junction 40 of the M6.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kirkland Hall Cottages This site was renewed and updated for the owner who has four cottages in Kirkland -a small village under Cross Fell (the highest spot in the Pennines). IPIX panoramas work under java applet control demonstrating the interiors of each cottage. A Flash media gallery is used to display pictures of the area.

We campaign on national issues such as excess packaging, chemicals and health, farmgate milk prices, Post Office closures and healthy eating. Based in Barnsley it runs courses both throughout Yorkshire and other areas aimed at singers and young musicians.
